In the days leading up to the Olympiad events, dozens of kids from the United States and Korea came to participate HSP Camp. At the camp, participants were able to stretch the limits of their brains, while at the same time having tons of fun.

The kids were divided into two groups--the Korean-language group and the English-language group. Not only did the Korean kids have to travle a long way to come, but they had to work hard, too. The 100 Korean kids who will be competing were selected after several elimination rounds. Here they are hard at work.
Notice the kids standing on their heads! That is really not such an unusual sight in HSP Camp, where kids really learn to overcome the limits of their brains, sometimes by training their bodies in amazing ways.

The most unique aspect of the Olympiad competition is the the "Brain Window" even in which kids and adults test their Heightened Sensory Perception ability. In this event, participants have to correctly identify the color of a card--without the use of their eyes. This requires very deep concentration.
